The Bad Woman the Good Woman and the Ugly Man

Series of five color photographs

“She has lived beyond feminism, for her the bloody revolution flows over into the red world of her lipstick. The image of the New Post-Socialist woman is the image of the New Carelessness.” Vita Cook (, 2001). Dedicated to the post-socialist woman and her anti-feminism, these photos show two types of women (Bad and Good, fighting and selling herself) and the man as depersonalized symbolic bordering line. Struggle for gender equality manifested in the socialist women emancipation, which nevertheless didn’t succeed in many spheres. The struggle had to continue. But with the transition to capitalism, many women started to think about their freedosm as given, expressing contempt to feminism and commercializing their look, by that enslaving themselves even more.
