The Platforms, Stages and Ideologists of Performance Art in Bulgaria.
“From the viewpoint of her own experience Boryana Rossa says, “The
performance gives you the opportunity to get out of the studio and
the island of solitude and to socialize your thoughts and art. In this
sense at now in Bulgaria performance has great potential (like in the
1980s) to express the problems and emotions of many people, to be
honest, angry and perhaps even an art made without money, but also
without loss of consciousness. Now is the time to do performances –
when people are in the street and when we can’t pay for electricity. At
least we still have our bodies.”
