The Good Girl, the Bad Girl and the Ugly Dude
“She has lived beyond feminism… for her, the bloody revolution flows over into the red world of her lipstick. The image of the New Post-Socialist woman is the image of the New Carelessness.” Vita Cook (cult.bg, 2001). Dedicated to the post-socialist woman and her anti-feminism, these photos show two types of women (Bad and Good, fighting for their place under the sun and selling herself) and the man as depersonalized borderline. The struggle for gender equality manifested itself in socialist women’s emancipation. The fight is far from done. With the transition to capitalism, many women started to think about their freedom as given and started to lose positions.
